Terms & Conditions

General Information about the Art Show:
 

  1. You may exhibit in any or all of the categories listed on the following page. No etchings or nudes permitted.
  2. All work to be hung must be framed, in good condition, and wired for hanging.  Damaged work will not be accepted.
  3. All work must be for sale.
  4. All work must come to us on the Art Drop-off Days with the Artist’s Name, Title, Medium and Sale Price printed and taped to the back of each piece. 
  5. A 35% commission will be deducted from the sale price for the benefit of the Academy of Notre Dame.  A check in the amount due to the artist will be mailed within 30 days of the show’s closing.
  6. All work on the Academy of Notre Dame premises will be insured while in Notre Dame’s care. Notre Dame is not responsible for work in transport to or from the show.
  7. All shipping expenses are the responsibility of the artist. 
  8. The hanging and placement of all artwork will be the responsibility of the Art Show Committee of the Academy of Notre Dame.
  9. All work must be delivered on Friday, January 22, 2016 between
      9-12 a.m. or Saturday, January 23, 2016 between 9-12 a.m.
  1. All work must be picked up on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 between 8:30-12 a.m. or 4-6 p.m. or on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 between 8:30-12 a.m.  We will not be releasing work prior to the end of the show on February 8th.
  2. Notre Dame will provide the bins for original bin work.
  3. No reproductions will be accepted.
  4. We request that prior work submitted to the NDA Art Show not be submitted again to the show.  The Art Show Committee reserves the right at Artist Check-In to decline work that has been in a previous show.
